Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Journeyman Lineman to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the construction, operation, maintenance, and servicing of our electric transmission and distribution facilities. Your efforts will ensure the reliability and efficiency of our electrical systems while maintaining a commitment to safety and best industry practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Construct, operate, maintain, and service electric transmission and distribution facilities.
- Adhere to established industry practices and cooperative policies to ensure safe and effective operations.
- Maintain positive working relationships and demonstrate personal integrity.
- Embrace and uphold cooperative principles in all aspects of work.
Minimum Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Completion of an approved 4-year line technician apprenticeship program.
- Ability to work in various outdoor environments, including extreme temperatures (-20 to 110 degrees Fahrenheit), and diverse weather conditions such as ice, snow, sun, high and low humidity, dust, and dirt.
- Physical capability to perform job functions, including talking, listening, standing, walking (over uneven terrain), crossing ditches, reaching, pushing, pulling, driving, traveling, lifting up to 50 lbs. unassisted, bending, stooping, squatting, twisting, balancing, and kneeling.
