• Network Engineer – Full Time

    Norton County Hospital has a career opportunity for a Network Engineer. This position will maintain the hospital’s network and software including installing, configuring and supporting the network infrastructure.  Applicant should be experienced with network hardware, have knowledge of network protocols, be familiar with network monitoring and management tools, and have excellent problem solving and analytical skills.  This position is full-time with office hours typically Monday-Friday, with shared on-call time.  A computer network engineering or computer science degree and 5 years of applicable experience is preferred.
    Primary responsibilities include but not limited to:
    • Install, configure and maintain network hardware and software
    • Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure minimal downtime
    • Collaborate with CIO & IT Tech to develop and implement network security measures
    • Design and implement a network infrastructure based on organizational requirements
    • Monitor network performance, system availability, and reliability
    • Troubleshoot and resolve network issues, including hardware and software problems
    • Conduct regular network maintenance including updating software and hardware
    • Document network configurations, processes, and procedures
    • Provide network engineering support and training to other team members
